Some of you may have heard of a penny auction scam, but I don’t know any ‘scam’ that can save you so much money and get you the high-ticket items you want, too! That’s why I decided to write this BidRivals review and set the record straight.

For those of you who may be familiar with eBay, this is a horse of a different color.  eBay is for window shoppers or those seeking unique items and who are willing to pay a premium by running the price UP as far as needed to outbid the competition. When you’re done you could find yourself owing more than the item is actually worth!

That’s fine for antiques or vintage items like fine porcelain or original art, but if you’re looking for huge savings on particular highly-sought-after items that you want to buy right now (without having to’ watch’ them for a week to 30 days first, only to lose them forever if you lose the auction) then a penny auction site like BidRivals is where you want to shop.

BidRivals has highly in-demand popular products like electronics and toys from HD TVs to mini-aquariums.  Want a 40”Sony TV for about $11.02 USD? People have won them and more — In fact, you can even win bottles of fine wine! Here are the product categories:

  • Audio & iPod
  • Bid Packages
  • Gadgets & Toys
  • Game consoles & Games
  • Home and Garden
  • Laptops (Apple!) & PC
  • Men’s Fashion and Accessories
  • Mobiles & Telephones
  • Navigation & GPS
  • Photo
  • Sports & Leisure
  • TV
  • Travel
  • Women’s Fashion and Accessories

If you’ve wanted that iPad and are ready to buy one, then it’s time to save money and have fun trying your hand at a BidRivals penny auction. Take a look – new items are added every week. (I’ve got my eye on that cute little mini-helicopter – wish me luck!)

What are penny-auctions? When the value of an item increases by one penny per bid; when you buy your bids first in preparation for the auction you’re going to play (so impulse ‘bids of passion’ can’t land you in trouble!) and when your savings are up to 90% -95% off the retail price of items you had already planned to buy, that’s a penny auction! Penny auction sites like BidRivals are exciting because they take some skill in order to win; you will learn BidRivals strategy over time as you learn to play – they even give you a free starting bid.

Penny auctions are also exciting because you’re bidding against the clock/timer (which re-sets a little each time you place a bid) and the winner is the one who gets the last bid placed before the timer runs out.

So just how does a BidRivals penny auction work? In short, once you begin bidding, the price (which starts at “0”) goes up by 1 cent and the clock resets just a little (backing up about 15 seconds). This makes it more of a challenge to get the last bid in, because you’re not just waiting for a simple count-down like on a “regular” auction site where, at the last second, everyone submits sky-high bids.

With BidRivals, the playing field is leveled so ‘high-rollers’ don’t have all the advantage. (The smart ones do, though!)

You can buy ‘bid packs’ of different sizes for the predicted needs of the auction you want to win. You can even assign the BidRivals bid agent to bid for you in your absence.

Click Here To Register – FREE! Use Coupon Code ‘FOR40BIDS’ (write that down) to get 40 free bids.

Then, the one who gets the last bid in wins!

What if you don’t win?  Still a win– because you were going to buy the item anyway, so click Buy Now and use your bids (the ones you used) towards the Buy Now price – so you don’t lose the bids you bought and you still get the item you were going to go out and buy anyway.

No one loses at BidRivals!

I just checked my account this morning and there were 161 users online, with 113 live auctions running (11 of which are HOT!) and in the last day there were 1305 Winners! That’s just this morning as I write this!

Is BidRivals exciting, or what?

Best of all is the 24/7 customer support to help newbies (or pros) should there ever be any questions.  I really like that. Plus the website is really helpful and gives lots of tips for starting slowly and learning how to bid before moving on to the ‘big game’. And for anyone still just a tad unsure, everything is backed up by their BidRivals Fair Auction Guarantee, which means transparent pricing (what you see is what you pay), their rigorous abuse management system, and every bid is a legitimate customer bid (no ‘tricks’ by the house to influence bidders.)

Check it out – BidRivals really works hard to make it fair – and fun! — for everyone. Click Here To Register – FREE! Use Coupon Code ‘FOR40BIDS’ (write that down) to get 40 free bids.

With over 1500 auctions going on every day, and hundreds of big winners from 25 countries, each and every day, and — well, I just don’t know any way to lose at BidRivals – other than not playing!

BidRivals Products

BidRivals has in demand products for unbeatable prices

The new rage in online auction sites is the so called Penny Auction like BidRivals. I’ve heard so much about it on TV and the news that I wanted to check things out for myself and see what all the hype was about.  I checked around and did my research and decided to investigate the one with the highest ratings and even a Better Business Bureau listing; BidRivals.

It seems really unlikely even for a top site like BidRivals and I admit I was very skeptical that any penny auction site was ‘for real’ and that you could get truly great deals bidding in one. How could they really let product go out the door for literally pennies? If a brand new in the box 23” wide screen TV for instance would retail for almost $300 how can they let anyone really win it for just $33.63 at BidRivals?

Now some of the sites I researched really give me the willies.  I mean people seem to spend an awful lot of time and money and never end up winning anything. There are some that are obviously not legit and I’d stay far away from those or you could stand to really lose a lot of money.  No one needs to throw their money away on hopeless bids on questionable products!

You see the idea with a penny auction like BidRivals is to pay for a certain number of bids before actually bidding.  You select the product you want and decide how many bids you want to purchase to bid on that item.  The price starts at zero and every time someone places a bid the price of the product goes up by one penny.   That’s why they call it a penny auction.

There is also a timer going. Each time someone bids the timer backs up for about ten seconds.  The winner is the one who gets the final bid placed just as the clock turns to ‘0’.

The price at the end of the auction is the price you then pay to buy the merchandise.  According to all the hype you should be able to get as much as 90%+ off the price of brand new TVs, iPads, cameras, phones or other high value goods. Like I said I was skeptical.  I needed to see for myself if this really works!

First I checked the BidRivals guarantee against the others. I can see why BidRivals got the great ratings. They only sell brand spanking new items which are sent directly from the reputable manufacturers or their distribution centers.  If there’s anything wrong and you need to return it just contact BidRivals’ friendly customer support staff.  They will help you figure out what they can do.  They will give you a refund of your purchase price (minus the value of your bids of course) as long at the item is still unopened in the original box.  Pretty safe way to shop!

Best of all is the incredible selection across so many categories that BidRivals offers. Unlike so many other sites with limited selection or inventory BidRivals has everything from household items like TVs and computers to gift cards and make up kits and magazine subscriptions!  You can also participate in bonus auctions to win packs of free bids!

I was afraid to get too involved in any of the other sites so I signed up with BidRivals and believe it when I tell you I was stunned when I won my first auction! My beautiful BidRivals $1049.00 USD Mac Book Air is being shipped as we speak and I won it for only $69.71!

So it turns out that the penny auction sites are for real – some of them at least – and if you decide to try one out I’d whole heartedly recommend BidRivals.

BidRivals in an online penny auction site which means that an item begins with a starting price of “0.00” and each bid placed then raises that price by one penny. You can imagine the gigantic discount the winning bidder will get! Some of the steals I saw online today were just incredible. Penny auction sites [...]
